The Amigo Travel Card™ allows you to withdraw
money in Cuba from your card balance at any widely available participating
local bank, or currency exchange offices. Also, the Amigo Travel
Card™ allows you to use it as a method of payment for goods
and services wherever the Amigo Travel Card™ is accepted such
as restaurants, gas stations, stores, hotels, car rentals, pharmacies,
etc.
Benefits of using Amigo Travel Card include:
- Security: Amigo
Travel Card™ values are stored in the Amigo Card Services
network and not on the card itself. The card cannot be duplicated
and has the added security feature of requiring physical identification.
If the card is lost or stolen, the cardholder can receive a replacement
card at a cost of $8.00USD by calling Cuba's 24 hour Customer
Service Support at telephone number: 7-55-4444, or the cardholder
can arrange to have the remaining balance of the card paid out
in cash at any participating bank by calling Cuba's 24 hour Customer
Service Support at the number indicated above.
- Convenient access points:
Amigo Travel Card™ is currently accepted at over 6,000 point
of sale locations throughout Cuba including restaurants, gas stations,
hotels, stores, car rentals, pharmacies, etc. Cash withdrawals
may be made throughout Cuba at participating local banks and currency
exchange outlets.
- Alternative method for
carrying cash, travellers cheques, credit card advances: Amigo
Travel Card™ is a unique and innovative way of carrying money.

method of avoiding the high interest and exchange rates that credit
